Palm Springs

Palm Springs... I love you. We had such a wonderful time this past weekend in Palm Springs. We rented this amazing mid-century modern house that my family of 6+ Alex stayed in. Really we were poolside just about the entire weekend with a beautiful wedding somewhere in between to break it up. I swear Alex became part fish this weekend. Luckily there was so much family to help keep her thirst for the water quenched. It was beautiful desert weather 90's during the day and cooled down to high 60's at night. Popsicles were a must! So was sunscreen, Alex loved helping Baba put on her's.

Alex loved hanging with her Uncle Ryan. Her and Leroy got along surprisingly well (he only nipped at her twice!). Alex and Leroy were the first to wake up every morning and every morning they would wake the house up because Leroy would run around and Alex would just squeal and giggle and get him even more wound up.

Halloween 2014

Scarecrow, Wicked Witch of the West, and the cutest little Dorothy.

Halloween this year was a blast! Alex did great with trick or treating but still can't quite say it so she would just say "Happy!" to everyone. She is very brave. At one of the scariest houses on our block we sat back and watched for awhile then I asked her if she wanted to go up and get candy, with no hesitations she nodded yes. She stayed up way past her bedtime enjoying all the kids running around and feeding off their energy. What a fun night and a fun neighborhood we have (our street was named one of the top San Diego trick or treat streets to hit up on Halloween by local news).
