Toddler Boredom

Sometimes you have to spend more time then you would like indoors... rain, sickness, chores, etc.
This makes for one bored little babe. Days like this it seems like nothing can entertain them. Of course you dont want to sit your child in front of the tv and once every book has been read and toy has been played with the frustration and crying begins.

Here is a game we play that helps develop motor skills as well as entertain the munchkin. All you need is a bottle of some sort (old/cleaned milk carton, jar, bottle), pasta, and some positive reinforcement. It is truly amazing how captivating Alex gets by this game... of course she often tries to sneak a bite of the hard noodle but she ends up dropping the pasta in in time.

Stay-at-home MOM!

Eeek! It's official, I am a stay at home mom! I am so excited to be able to fully dedicate to my precious daughter. She is growing so fast and learning so much I am so grateful that we are able to do this.

Some other exciting news: ALEX SLEEPS THROUGH THE NIGHT!!!
She stopped sleeping through the night at around 6 months, and since then I have been waking with her 2-4 times a night but now thanks to this awesome book we not only have her sleeping through the night but she goes to bed around 6:30! Meaning, we have a few hours to ourselves before bed. What a difference!

Kiss face.

Alex: Lots of rain, lots of tears, and lots of time indoors. Alex spent a lot of time cuddling with Sprouts her monkey and gnawing on her fingers... 2 bottom molars are almost completely through with 2 daggers on top making there way through the gums too. Poor girl.
